The 2022 OSIG will take place on the homelands and traditional territories of the Algonquin Peoples,
who have inhabited the Ottawa region and surrounding area since time immemorial. The Algonquins of Pikwakanagan First Nation are a proud and progressive Algonquin community, situated on the shores of Golden Lake and the Bonnechere River in Renfrew County. Located off of Highway 60, the community is situated one and a half hours west of Ottawa and one and a half hours east of Algonquin Park.
