Makerspace – 3D Printing Workshop

The goal of this workshop is to encourage creativity, problem solving and increased interest in technology among youth. 3D printing makes it possible to produce a real object: participants will draw the 3D object using a computer-aided design tool. The 3D file is then processed by a specific software and the cut is sent to the 3D printer, which deposits the material layer by layer until the final object is obtained.

Three workshop sessions will be offered:
Friday, July 29 – 1:00pm to 2:00 pm
Friday, July 29 – 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm
Friday, July 29 – 3:00pm to 4:00pm

A sign-up will be posted at athlete check-in.

Campus Tours

We’ve partnered with the University of Ottawa so that you can explore the campus from top to bottom.

Tours will be offered at specified times during the 2022 OSIG. These 90-minute tours led by our student ambassadors will feature some of our favourite campus locations, including classrooms, study spaces, sports facilities and so much more. You will also be able to ask questions about our programs and life on campus. A schedule of tours will be shared with Games participants closer to the event.
