Athletes Village

The Athletes Village will be the central hub of the 2022 OSIG. It will feature information, vendor and food booths, a stage for the Opening and Closing ceremonies, medal ceremonies, a BBQ and community feast and other fun engaging activities.

The 2022 OSIG Athletes Village will be located on the University of Ottawa campus at the University Square – a multipurpose central space built to provide a central social gathering spot for the university’s community – as well as a venue for many different special events. Located in the center of the campus, this 16,000-foot open outdoor plaza features a stage, evening lighting and a collection of small shrubberies.

You can come check out the vendors, relax between competitions, get some snacks and check out what’s happening throughout the day. The Athletes village will also host medical and other services in case you need support.

Vendor Village Hours:

• Thursday, July 28: 3:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
• Friday, July 29: 10:00 a.m. to 3 p.m.
• Saturday, July 30: 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
• Sunday, July 31: 12:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
